Welcome to the Body Art Facility Inspector Training (BAFIT) Online Course!
This self-paced, online training is designed to support you in conducting effective, risk-based inspections of body art facilities, whether you’re just starting out or expanding your expertise. The course will introduce common body art procedures, highlight public health risks, and incorporate industry insights.

This course aligns with the 2024 Body Art Model Code and Annex. Some regulations in this training may be different than the ones in your jurisdiction, but the foundational principles support consistent, science-based inspection practices that can be adapted to local requirements.

This course is comprised of seven modules. Each module is accessible from this course page, allowing you to move at your own pace. Within each module header, you’ll find links to additional resources.

Course Duration:
The course consists of seven modules, with knowledge checks and activities. The entire course is designed to take four hours to complete, which may vary depending on your amount of review, familiarity with the content, and internet connection.
